There is a wonderfully real sense of blasphemy that helps to shape this band and their soul melting crush of a bottom end is only another layer that helps to make this such a compelling band to really lose yourself in. When it comes down to it, Ravenous Death distill the slicing and dicing side of death metal down perfectly. It's such a delight to experience the manic playing of a track like "Gore Vault Dismemberment." What does that even MEAN? It doesn't matter, because it's goddamn death metal.
Ravenous Death are here to grind your face to dust with chainsaw riffs galore and an overarching sense of torment. Avoiding so many of the silly modern tropes that make the genre mocked, Ravenous Death lean into classic and exciting elements that help evoke truly dark vibes and drag listeners down to hell with them. This is death metal done right, wonderfully extreme and chock to the brim with demented visions from the dark side.
