Vermin in Vinyl is a band that takes the familiar, bland, formulas of bands like Green Day and spices them up a bit with gritty production and lots of wild bluesy solos. The standard elements of pop punk are elaborated so that this band becomes more than your average group of pop punk 'rockers'. Instead their music is vibrant and wild and definitely not pre-packaged. They take some of My Chemical Romances' dramatic flair and inject it into their own dirty garage punk. It really helps differentiate the band and make them signable. This is one of those bands that takes a formula and turns it into their own animal. I have to say I really like them and support what they are doing. You need to check them out now!
