Bonfire - Pearls

Man - I didn't know much about Bonfire before today but I gotta say, I've pretty quickly fallen in love with their high powered exciting glam rock sound. This is one of those bands who ran parallel to groups like Scorpions but for some reason never were able to truly break into the mainstream. That being said, this double album collection of their work, with one disc featuring re-recordings of classics and another with orchestral padding to some of their hits is a great primer on what the band is all about. Sure there are a few moments to make you wince, but it's a glam metal record - what more can you really want?

Objectively speaking I feel like the first disc here is superior to the second, if only because the 'orchestral versions' of the tracks felt a bit underwhelming. While the padding is certainly appreciated it wasn't quite the re-imaginings that I was hoping for. That being said - the bands sound reeks of Def Leppard and White Snake, and regular readers will know, that's pretty much the key to my heart. The guitar solos are flashy and fun, the riffs crunchy and the vocals bombastic - what more could a long hair want? One thing I don't fully understand though is the bands desire to be American. Asides from the Sweet Home Alabama cover (Which is actually pretty rad) there's a song called Proud Of My Country that seems to be a paean to Middle American attitudes of the 80s (Or at least I hope it is...)

Pearls provides a ton of material to go through, and people who love glam metal are going to have a field day picking apart all that Bonfire have put up to offer here. So while you probably don't want to plow through this in one sitting as I have picking and choosing as you go through promises to be a helluva good time. Bonfire know what traditional heavy metal is about and it's hard to blast them and not have a good time. Groovy, fresh and full of that good old rock and roll energy, Pearls makes me feel young again.

W.A.S.P. - Golgotha

I was kind of dreading reviewing this record because W.A.S.P. were so important to me growing up. Not only did they write killer tunes but they also pissed off my mom - what more could a teenage boy want? That being said - even with the heavy handed pro-Jesus anthem Golgotha closing out the record I find myself kind of digging what W.A.S.P. have done on Golgotha it shows a bold future for a band that many thought were too old to do anything good. The fact of the matter is these dudes have put out a top notch rock record any way you cut it.

Sure - Blackie Lawless's voice ain't what it once was - nevertheless, he channels his present-day vocal capabilities to craft some truly powerful songs. As over the top as this record can get, it's hard to deny the perpetual strength of the songwriting. Yeah, there is some filler here and there, but overall I'm pretty darn enamored with what W.A.S.P. have done here. Some of the best tracks, Last Runaway in particular wouldn't have seemed out of place in the bands heyday and help to prove to me that there are at least a few more good songs to come in the W.A.S.P. catalogue, some legends can never be fully quenched.

To just take a moment on the elephant in the room - the title track does indeed feature the line "Jesus I need you now/free me I'm lost somehow". But hey man - let Blackie do his thing - he was the most evil man in America for years - he's got to rebalance all that with the man upstairs. And you gotta give it to him - dudes like Ace Frehley might talk about their religion in interviews but those guys don't have the balls to do a seven minute epic about it. The point being - W.A.S.P. still get the power of rock and roll and despite personal turmoil we get the sense that with bands like these guys still around then the power of rock and roll will never die.

Diemonds - Never Wanna Die

Some of you may be aware that I am absolutely obsessed with the 90s/2000s band the Donnas - so anytime I get music at all reminiscent of those gals I get excited. Such is the case with Diemonds latest release, the fun and hard rockin' Never Wanna Die that features all sorts of flashy guitar work, power choruses and vicious female vocals that will get any old fashioned rock and rollers heart beating faster. This is the kind of heavy music that makes the genre so valuable and it's hard to deny the joy it brings the listener.

There is a poignant power to these tracks and their youthful exuberance. These are songs that speak to the beating and virile young heart of rock and roll and all that represents. Hard rock was never meant to be taken to seriously and the heart pounding assault of Never Wanna Die proves that the band always understood that - In fact, that's kind of the point of Diemonds, to unleash delicious tunes that are easily digestible and leave you pumping your fist in the sky. And in this day and age of hyper serious rock bands that only talk about feelings there's something strangely reassuring about having fun anthems to rock along too.

Diemonds are great songwriters and have a wonderful sense of their own humanity - that's what makes Never Wanna Die so god damn enjoyable. They know they're probably not going to make it - but fuck it, they're gunna hold on to what they've got and drive forward no matter what - because at the end of the day it's the courage and tenacity behind the music that is what has made rock last so god damn long. Diemonds are more than just a footnote in rock history, they are a band sent perhaps by the devil himself to get us dancing to that rock n roll music until we die.

Mad Max - Thunder, Storm and Passion

There is something to be said for bands that have been out there doing this for more than thirty years. a group like Mad Max - who have the oddly beautiful pedigree of a "Forgotten act" is the kind that really stand out to me. Representing this strangely beautiful fusion of glam and NWOBHM their latest record Thunder, Storm and Passion is a veritable heavy metal monster that will have you rocking from start to finish. A testament to a time and place, these Germans have put together something truly special.

The anthemic power of Thunder, Storm and Passion never gets old, even though it is one of the main foundations for the record. The fact of the matter is that Mad Max are still doing it and delivering at a very high level. They have a sense of poppy songwriting that gives even their most grandiose moments a dash of fun. The thing is, as opposed to many of their peers from the same era Mad Max have a pretty distinctive sound and that makes them a lot of fun to listen too. The heavily layered choruses are a blast to pump your fist too and represent all that the band can be, a truly legendary metal act who will never fail to capture your imagination.

Toss in a few flashy (And wonderfully executed) guitar solos alongside the general aural triumph of Thunder, Storm and Passion and you start to get a sense for what is essentially a heavy metal record in the grand old style. Mad Max are far too much fun to listen too and digging ever deeper into their sound is an endlessly rewarding experience. These tracks are wonderfully written and very tight in their delivery. These guys understand the very basis of the genre and I think they may be set to have a late career rejuvenation!

Salems Lott - S/T

Salems Lott is a band with an over the top glam look yet a sound that reeks of 2015. Profound and beautifully arranged here is a band that feel almost manufactured at times, yet that somehow adds to the magic. Salems Lott are essentially what would have happened if glam metal kept evolving and remained a respected genre today. Their sound has all of the bombast and joy of hose glam metal recordings, and yet with touches of growls, skulls being crushed and even classical guitar, there is no way this record couldn't be modern.

There's a lot to love with this band, the way they seem to give no fucks as they tap into a greater sound, something epic and fun, it's just a pleasure to be a part of. With an image that immediately provokes intrigue (after all, how can you not press play when presented with dudes with hair that towers three feet above their heads?) the band do not disappoint when it comes to sonic destruction. At around a half an hour long you never get bored of the flashy solos and angular riffs, instead you are left begging for more, and confident in the knowledge that one day soon Salems Lott will come back and shower us with triumph once more.

Few bands capture my imagination like Salems Lott have. Their sound is truly exciting and its hard to not expect great things from them. They understand how to market a sound that is surprisingly unique. Sure, it's couched in a larger tradition, but the bands unique take on glam is a joy to listen too, a logical extension on all that we love with bands like Motley Crue. My only complaint is that the record has no real anthem to lead it to victory. As is though, there's a lot to love about Salems Lott and the world is at their feet.

Hell In The Club - Devil On My Shoulder

Sleazy and brilliantly orchestrated glam rock, Hell In The Club are the kind of band who understand what it means to rock in 2015. Their latest release Devil On My Shoulder is the kind of innovative and exciting hard rock record that has you singing along and headbanging for the entirety of the record. Far too much fun and a welcome respite from the doom, death, and black metal that dominate this website, Hell In The Club are rock and roll icons in the making who truly understand what the genre is all about.

Devil On My Shoulder captures your heart simply in its songwriting. These are tracks that will leave your jaw on the floor. They capture a sort of hedonistic zeitgeist in a way that very few of their peers could even dream of. Hell In The Club are going to get you dancing all around, evidencing the almighty magic that rock music can still have. When these grooves and pounding riffs wind their way into your heart it's impossible to break free. Toss in some fun guitar solos that nicely compliment soaring vocals and you get a sense for what these guys are all about, rock and roll that feels right and has no limits.

Hell In The Club may very well be my new favorite hard rock band, they make me want to dance, and that is the sort of thing that sets bands like this apart. Probably my favorite ever release from Scarlet Records, Hell In The Club are doing something fun and undeniably heavy. They will capture your imagination as you feel the beautiful rock and roll nightmare that they paint for you. Personal and borderline orchestral in its conception Devil On My Shoulder is everything you like about rock and roll!

Gypsy

It's been a while since I've gotten to cover some pure hard rock on this site, so the bouncy rhythms and catchy attack of Gypsy provides a welcome respite to the rest of the extreme metal madness that has been dominating this blog lately. With high pitched vocals soaring over top of tight and crunchy guitar riffs you immediately get a sense that Gypsy love o honor their musical ancestors. These songs are tight and fun to listen too, the sort of thing that captures the imagination with flashy solos and a rhythm section that pounds its way into oblivion. There is a healthy dose of Dokken in the sound which is remarkable given that most of the Indian bands I've been exposed too tend to shy away from that kind of thing. At the end of the day though the song remains the same, Gypsy are just another batch of music loving hard working kids who deserve your ear. If you want precise riffs with a bite accompanied with a fun falsetto then you have found your band Gypsy are just starting to make their mark, and from here on out it seems like the future is only going to get brighter.

Rebellious Spirit-Obsession

A very young and exciting hard rock band from Germany, Rebellious Spirit are standing tall in the shadow of the likes of Axel Rudi Pell (who they will be touring with soon) and the Scorpions. These guys have a great understanding of what they want to do, hard hitting and passionate hard rock music that speaks to the soul. Their new record Obsession is some of the tightest and most fun rock music I've heard in a good long while. Unafraid of pop hooks and flashy solos, Obsession is a fun record to listen too and leaves you begging for more.

What Rebellious Spirit get is the power of an epic chorus. The way that their songs are constructed to slowly swell into epic parts that leave you headbanging with the horns raised is impressive. Simply put, it means that Rebellious Spirit is fun to listen too, and frankly, how many bands in this day and age can claim to have even that simple feature? Sure, Obsession doesn't always break new ground, but it shows a band who have a fairly distinct sound which keeps things interesting for me. I think ultimately, what sets this record above the heads of its peers is that the guys in Rebellious Spirit are top notch songwriters with an ear for melody, this alone makes them veritable legends in their own lifetimes.

So what's next for these young hard rockers from Germany? I get the feeling that their youthul exuberance and triumphant energy will allow them to take the world by storm. The music on Obsession is simply a joy to listen to and shows us that true rock and roll will always exist in some form or another. Rebellious Spirit get what glam, hard rock, and all of that noise are really meant to be about and they make it so that Obsession stands tall as one of the most exciting and pure releases I've gotten to cover in a little while, so come on in, check it out, and feel the vibes!

Axel Rudi Pell-Into the Storm

I look into the mirror, my face is hard, out of the glass stares the face of a guy who has to pay a fifty thousand dollar bill for something he's not quite sure he wants. Somewhere though, something stirs bright within me, I have a copy of the new deluxe edition of the latest Axel Rudi Pell record, Into the Storm, in my inbox, if that can't brighten my day I don't know what will. As is, it certainly seems like Axel Rudi Pell has managed to do it again, not only is the original content of Into the Storm top notch as we have come to expect from this great man, but the bonus content is enticing.

From the mournful guitar solo on the beginning of White Cats, you know that the bonus content of this record is delicious. The fact of the matter is that the extra material is complimenting a record that alrday proves that three decades into his career Axel Rudi Pell is still a metal lord. It's easy to feel the grooves when they've been derived from the mind of such an incredible talent as Pell. I'd also like to point out that Johnny Gioeli does an incredible job on vocals, his voice soars high and mighty, speaking to the all consuming power of this mans music. As he blares through tracks like the ten minute long epic Into the Storm or the progressive masterpiece Way to Mandalay you get a sense for the incredible power of this band as a cohesive unit. Gioeli stands tall with Pell allowing the band to reach its full potential.

I realize perhaps I can push that debt back, maybe there is a deeper understanding we can come too here. Axel Rudi Pell has guided me towards something greater, and I think that Into the Storm may very well be able to help you out too. this is the product of a man who understands not only the world he lives in, but the one he came from. Into the Storm is special because it connects, it leaves us feeling whole, as if all of the darkness around can not vanquish us. Though the night is dark and full of terrors, I know one thing, I can put my faith in Axel Rudi Pell's ax to guide me into the storm.

Party Animals-Light A Fan Cool

Party Animals is one of those Italian Glam bands who are simply dominating their local scene right now. These guys have just put out a new record, bizarrely titled Light A Fan Cool, if anyone wants to explain what that means in the comments, I would be much obliged. Now, the first thing that sets Party Animals apart is that this is actually a female fronted glam band, and we've never had a lot of those, much less in the Italian scene. Add in a healthy dose of rock and roll swagger and we're starting to go places with the kind of band who seemed destined to rule.

There is a certain charisma to Light A Fan Cool, the sort of thing that shows Party Animals aren't just another batch of imitators but actually have something constructive to donate to the scene. These guys have some extremely tight songwriting and digging into their record is an enlightening experience. The riffs here have a magic propulsion behind them, as if their writers had been on the Sunset Strip back in the 80s. The thing is, Party Animals are wholly serious, they're not messing around or pretending to be glam, this is what they love and it shows in the music. Every song rings with a vibrant passion and gives the record an everlasting and poignant magic.

If you have ever had any love for glam, then Light A Fan Cool will certainly win your heart. This is the sort of glam metal that the world needs more of, hard partying and dedicated to getting your rocks off. I think that Party Animals could have a bright future ahead of them if they play their cards right. They're rapidly rising in popularity and I think with a tour or two under their belts they could dominate the international scene. This is one of the most exciting things happening in glam right now, confidently moving forward while honoring the masters of time past, check it!

Bastardogs-No Pain No Gain

Bastardogs are one of these strange glam revival bands that bring a lot to a genre that many once cast aside and called frivolous. These Genova natives have crafted something exciting and new with their record No Pain No Gain. A record that seems to fuse the sounds of obscure New Wave of British Heavy Metal stalwarts with some hard hitting classic glam, this is glam for a new generation, heavy, melodic, and of course, a blast to listen too. Suffice to say, with No Pain No Gain it is impossible to call Bastardogs a mere revival band, but rather an evolution on the music of the lords of the genre.

Part of the appeal of Bastardogs is the heavily reverbed vocals, they have a wild and triumphant quality which fills the music up with a vitriolic energy. Bastardogs spit acid into the face of posers and will have no truck with those who can't appreciate their mountains of hair. The riffs on No Pain No Gain are simply stellar. They have a lot of wonderful roaring parts that demonstrate a true understanding of glam as a genre. Yet this is not the only thing that defines the Bastardogs sound. The band plays with a stunning desperation and searing majesty that evidences the groups ability to roar out of the gutter and onto the stage. This is sleaze metal at its finest, dirty, grimy, and ready to rock.

A band who have no difficulty fusing the grit of Motorhead with the slime of W.A.S.P. Bastardogs have gone out and proved themselves as rapidly rising metal gods with No Pain No Gain. Not just music for dudes stuck in the 80's. Bastardogs have an incredible forward thinking sound rife with stunning riffs and flashy guitar licks. Tease your hair out boys and stick on the spandex, Bastardogs are sleaze metal for you and me, folks who never experienced the 80's glambangers. This band will tear your skull open and stuff it full of glitter, prepare your body.

Desyre-Glamtron

Glam is seeing something of a revival these days, and I for one am very excited. Bands built around spandex pants, tight riffs, and a fiendish dedication to rock and roll are, in my opinion, glorious, groups that showcase a magic that is all their own. With Glamtron Desyre bring something new to the table. A sound that adds not a few power metal elements to a strong glam base, Glamtron is a fun and party hearty record that showcases one of Finlands fastest rising metal bands. Music for the masses, heavy metal for the master plan, Glamtron is here to drown you in heavy metal magic.

One thing I really fig about Glamtron is the high flying and triumphant vocals that characterize a lot of the record. They give a strong power metal vibe to the songs and help to add in a 'fantastic' element to the music. Meanwhile, the lyrics are mostly pure glam metal, as evidenced by tracks like 'Party Song' and 'Dangerous Desyre'. The riffs fall somewhere in between, neither to glam or to power metal. Instead they find a happy medium that helps to give Glamtron its own feel. One last thing I would like to point out is the spectacular keyboard playing. They do not dominate the music but they give heft to the sound and help to keep things engaging and powerful.

In conclusion, Glamtron is a surprisingly fresh and very fun glam metal record that will capture your heart and turn it up to eleven. Filled with partying fun and heavy metal magic Glamtron isn't really meant to be taken seriously. Yet, that doesn't take away from the sheer beauty of this record. An album that understands and captures the spirit of glam yet injects so much more is hard to come by, but Desyre's power metal, glam mix is pulled off with aplomb. Suffice to say, the future seems bright for these children of Finland and I can't wait to see what they pull off next!

Superhorrorfuck-Death Becomes Us

Some of you may remember Superhorrorfuck from my previous review of their great little EP. Their new record takes all of the songs from Gorgeous Dead and revamp them with a set of new tracks to form the album Death Becomes Us. This new record is frankly their best yet. Filled with crazed riffs, sexual boasts and headbanging guitar parts galore this is an album that understands the neverending power that rock and roll can have over anyone even a hoary old soul like mine. These 12 tracks get rock and roll and drive everything all the way up to 11.

What makes this record special is the raw hedonism that characterizes so much of the music. These songs provide a sort of modern glam, music that gathers all of the scum of the Sunset Strip and distills it into one gloriously metal whole. This band is filthy and unafraid, willing to crash through any boundary and break any rule as long as it benefits the magic that rock and roll needs to have to succeed. The bands image is pretty much perfect considering what they want to do and the pictures that adorn their record are a fitting tribute to all that the band stands for, one of the last acts in the world to fully embrace sex, drugs, and rock and roll.

In finishing, Death Becomes Us is one of the most triumphant metal records of the year. Triumphant and hard hitting this is an album that will grab you by the ears and get you singing along to every single chorus. If you want a band who will turn it up and rock out for hours on end then Superhorrorfuck is exactly what you want. Their newest release represents all of the power that their unique sound has and they are truly spearheading this glam revival with innovation, fire and passion. I simply have to recommend that you pick this record up from Atomic Stuff Promotions as soon as possible.

Damn Dice-Wild 'n' Ready

Not a lot of people get glam metal right these days. They only parody the whole hedonistic rock and roll spirit that made bands like Motley Crue so good.  (Not that bands like Steel Panther aren’t good in their own right) These guys embrace the wilds of the road and the Hunter S Thompson inspired party hard life.  This is an album that falls right into the grooves of glam but adds in some tasty modern metal elements. Damn Dice’s new six song EP Wild 'n' Ready is a record showing that the true spirit of glam will never die and the vicious Hollywood parties will never die.

Wild 'n' Ready is special because of all of the hooks it provides, immediately grabbing the listener by the heart and soul, pulling them into fun high flying licks and then headbanging along to powerful verses. When the chorus comes around in my minds eye I can immediately see the entire crowd singing along to their anthemic chants.  Toss in some flashy guitar solos and you have the true spirit of the 80s roaring through the best of its times. All in all, there are some extremely tight performances on this record showing a band who have rehearsed, rehearsed and rehearsed some more yet still know how to fully embrace the rock and roll party.

To wrap it all up, Wild 'n' Ready  is a record that reaches out and embraces the party rocker in all of us. While the music may not be especially intelligent it sure is fun and these six tracks showcase a group who want to relive the 80s without parodying it. Yet nevertheless, the modern metal elements tossed in make this thing sound distinctly 21^st century. In other words Damn Dice are bringing glam back to life in a way that is not a crude parody but instead a glorious prothalmion, a testament to the enduring power that the era MTW groomed.

Seventh Veil

Here's something to consider, or just completely throw away, we are currently seeing a revival of the spirit of glam, and not in bands like Steel Panther but groups who seek to modernize the sound and concepts of the Sunset Strip. Seventh Veil are one such band and their sleazy brand of hard hitting rock and roll is not to be ignored, with ripping chords, big choruses and a great glam metal attitude there is a lot to dig in the edgy and intentionally crude sound of Seventh Veil. One of my favorite parts about this Italian combo is their marvelous riffing style, while it is of course heavily influenced by groups like Motley Crue and Hanoi Rocks there is something of a modern hard rock sensibility in their which adds a lot of flavor to songs like Slimy Snake and helps to differentiate the band from a crowded scene. All in all, these guys are extremely tight but also very sleazy and simply impressive. Riding on the wings of massive choruses and crazed guitar solos there is a lot to love with the roaring sound of Seventh Veil. Watch out before they come and burn your town down!

Rusted-Rock Patrol

Rusted is a fiery hard rock band with a heavy influence from Eighties glam. Their new record Rock Patrol is an anthemic tribute to all that is rock and roll. Filled with crunchy riffs and huge choruses this record is easy to love. It shows a band who truly get the ideas behind 80s glam and turn it up to the max. A blast to listen to Rock Patrol makes for fun listening all year round. What it lacks it musical depth it makes up in rock and roll magic a joyful album that should appeal to any fan of hard rock at anytime. A timeless record it shows that Rusted truly know how to write some solid tunes.

Note that this record is not tongue in cheek like Steel Panther instead it is shockingly serious, filled with the laments that made glam so much fun. Its nice to hear a record that is decidedly glam that does not fade away into the night. Instead these Montreal natives have established a strong record with beautiful choruses and sweeping solos filled with the raw emotion that gave the glambangers legitimacy. Meanwhile the songwriting is very solid the tracks are all fairly short and they stay interesting. This is an album that will keep you rocking through the night and never leave you bored.

In conclusion, if you're looking for a fun rock record from an up and coming band who revel in the poofy hair and skintight spandex of the Sunset Strip of the 80s then Rock Patrol is the album for you. With soaring vocals and great refrains I can't really find a subset of society who would actively hate on this record. (Asides from, of course, black metal elitists) It's simply so much happy and fiery that you can't dislike it. A promising debut to say the least I would be excited to see where Rusted bring their high powered glam sound in the future!

So the Vietcong Pornsurfers have a new album out in a couple of days and they've chosen to stream "The Best Song" through Two Guys. Obviously this is an honor and very exciting, The Best Song is a good indicator of what the rest of the album sounds like. Vietcong Pornsurfers-We Spread Diseases

Vietcong Pornsurfers are a delectable punk band with a heavy rock influence on their sound which is almost reminiscent of The Misfits at times. This Swedish four piece have a sound filled with crunchy riffs and sleaze rock songwriting that should appeal to many a metaller. Their new album We Spread Diseases is a powerful tribute to the magic of heavy rock, topped off with sexual boasts, rock anthems, and odes to drugs.  The Vietcong Pornsurfers are truly fun to listen too and fills the listener up with a crazy rock and roll energy that grabs the listener by the head and drowns them under their musical might.

From the opening crash of Marcel you know you're in for a fun ride. A couple tracks later and the listener is bombarded by The Best Song Ever, another example of the bands penchant for showcasing a rock and roll swagger. The group does a particularly good job of using powerful refrains to get the listener singing along, it makes me think that these guys must be a blast to see live. The songs are all fairly short and given their relatively sparse structure this is probably for the better. In addition it gives the music a lot more spontaneity and keeps the record fresh. Suffice to say, as I listen to this album I'm enamored by the raw power of the band and the spicy guitar playing that keeps the music fun.

Easy Trigger- Bullshit

Driving rock and roll with a healthy dose of heavy metal and trve grit, Easy Trigger is a fun and sleazy hard rock band. Their premier album Bullshit is a high powered and hard rocking tribute to the magic of the devils music. A record that has a bit of everything, from power ballads to quasi death growls, from pop punk parts to driving thrash this is a very fun party metal record that should be enjoyed by many hard rock and modern metal fans. Dirty, grimy and filled with a dedication to all that is rock Bullshit is a anthemic and powerful record that shows a band just starting their journey into the world of rock.

This album has a lot of raw filth in it, this allows the music to take on a bit of a glam quality. At times reminiscent of Sunset Strip lords like the Sleez Beez Easy Trigger understand how to make edgy rock that can still appeal to the masses. Some of the more vicious riffs are even reminiscent of bands like Hardcore Superstar. Meanwhile, the bouncier and more fiery parts remind me distinctly of Motley Crue. I'd also like to point out that their are quite a few wonderful choruses to be had on this record. Its a lot of fun to sing along with some of the bands more epic tracks! It really is just a testament to the groups solid songwriting and the effort they poured into this record.

In conclusion, with Bullshit Easy Trigger have created a fun and vibrant hard rock record that would appeal to any fan of the sleazy stuff. This records twelve tracks are dripping with a classic LA might, while still succeeding in incorporating some more modern elements into their sound, Easy Trigger find a great fusion of styles that many a metalhead will love. The end result is a tasty record with lots of flashy solos and headbanging riffs. A very solid overall effort it will be interesting to see where Easy Trigger take their explosive sound in the future!

Baby Heartless

Baby Heartless is a fun and groovy sleaze rock band from Bergen Norway. What is especially about this band is that while it is glam it does not try to revive the genre as bands like Steel Panther do. On some level Baby Heartless represent a progression beyond glam standards, an idea I find to be very interesting. Baby Heartless are not trying to relive the glory days of Motley Crue or Warrant, instead they are creating a logical progression on a sound that dominated the airwaves 25 years ago. With a unique sound all of their own Baby Heartless have a lot of potential. I'd also like to point out how cool it is that a band like this is coming from a place like Norway, a country more traditionally known for its kvlt black metal scene. Suffice to say, Baby Heartless's new single Midnight Crush is magnificent simply because it shows that their is a way forward for glam in the modern era. A band that seeks to breathe new life into a genre once thought long dead it will be very interesting to see where Baby Heartless take their sound in the future!
