Cendra - 666 Bastards

Cendra are the kid beautiful blackened thrash that the world can only do with more of. Sure it's stripped down and a little nuts, but the punky magic of songs like Argh!!! and Satanic D-Beat is not something to be trifled with. The punishing grooves layed down in these tracks kind of sets a defining tone for the music as it goes forward. Trying to sit still during the primal violence of these songs is impossible. Cendra face a dark and twisted reality, and they want you to know about it. Sure it may not be the world we want to deal with, but it's the one we exist in. They present us with a realm of decay and give us the strength to carry on. This band represents a glorious fusion of everything punk, thrash, and black metal can be. In a way, they are like a thrashier version of Endstille. They bring it all together on 666 Bastards to form something cohesive and beautiful, thrash metal for the modern age, punk that will make you think, and black metal that is not lost in esoterica.
