Unholy Vampyric Slaughter Sect come out swinging on this one. Their blasphemous high powered black metal is thrilling to watch unfold and really speaks to the power of the band. With stellar production and some pretty thrilling dynamics, Unholy Vampyric Slaughter Sect show they are a cut above the rest here.
The bands seemingly unending release schedule has served to hone them into one of the best in the world at raw black metal. Though this may only be their third full length a quick glimpse at their Encyclopaedia Metallum page shows more than a dozen EP's, splits and demos since their inception in 2015. What this really means is that Unholy Vampyric Slaughter Sect have refined their brand of raw black metal so that The World Trapped In Vampyric Sway (Darker And Darker) turns into an absolute stunner. The sheer intensity of this thing will have you scraping your jaw off the floor in awe.
Unholy Vampyric Slaughter Sect are a one of a kind force in the world of black metal. Their music is creepy, powerful and wonderfully dark. I've already been through this latest offering a handful of times and it leaves me increasingly impressed. This is a band who have gone above and beyond, hwo have gone for the throat and drank from the night itself. The World Trapped In Vampyric Sway (Darker And Darker) is an intense listen. It's not a record for those new to the genre. But for those of us who remains true to the kvlt, then this is a dream come true.
