3 reviews to go tonight and Kelevra is not exactly helping me through it. They have a pretty meh generic Deathcore sound. I'm not saying it's bad, but it's been done before and is kinda boring. That is, until you get to some of their solos. The solos save this band. They have a certain victorious feel that is actually kind of reminiscent of viking metal acts like Ensiferum. Otherwise the guitars play average riffs with nothing particularly standing out asides from some pretty ok breakdowns. The solos often go on right underneath the vocals and make the music feel a lot more varied. The bass and drums are both rather generic but they do their jobs and they support the guitar solos. Finally the vocals are meh, but again do their job, supporting the soloing guitar. Overall this band is okay but not great, its the guitar that saves all of it, yet otherwise there s little new ground.
OVERALL 7/10
