In Arkadia is a destructive deathcore band from France. These devastating metallers have since 2005 been honing their own brand of bone breaking metal. Hardened by more than a hundred gigs and years of toil In Arkadia's music is brutal and surprisingly tight. I especially like the vocals which do a nice job of fusing traditional growls with the occasional squeal. The riffs are high powered and always packed with a hardcore punch. I particularly like the ferocious riffing on the more hectic songs like Scriptures. A mosh friendly band who understand how to properly combine death metal with hardcore In Arkadia are certainly very talented musicians with a great artistic vision. Already having gleaned thousand of views on their videos on youtube it seems like only good things are in store for the future of this band. They are filled with potential and show a true professionalism that is hard to find in modern deathcore. That being said, I am very much looking forward to going to see them on Sunday night at the legendary Le Batofar!
