O Grande Ogro

O grande Ogro

O Grande Ogro is a strange instrumental band from Sao Polo. Their sound is unique to say the least and features the influence of groups like Fugazi and Helmet. While their mix may be a bit muddy the chops are definitely there, showing O Grande Ogro to be an explosive band with some interesting ideas that should allow them to quickly gain fans and take their music to a whole new level. One of my favorite aspects of the O Grande Ogro sound is the unerring bass driven groove that helps to give songs like Robert Garcia a really great vibe. It's a track that is simply fun to listen too because the relentless groove keeps things spicy and interesting. This groove makes it present on nearly all of their songs and showcases how great O Grande Ogro can be. With a bit more direction to their songwriting these guys could become truly special (Right now a lot of the songs have a bit of a jam rock feel). In conclusion, if you're looking for an interesting jam band with a great sense of groove then O Grande Ogro is the band for you!
