Human Fate

Human Fate is a really cool band who incorporate a plethora of world music into a heavy metal sound. The end result is a sound that is distinctly unique and pushes the boundaries on what metal can be. With a variety of interesting instruments used (From sitars to accordions) these guys stop at nothing to get the world music sound they want. Yet they fuse it perfectly with the metal madness of bands like Sepultura. Their debut record Part I came out in 2009 and simply leaves me wanting more. It features tons of fresh ideas and interesting concepts, Human Fate are crafting a new genre of metal and doing it in a way that it could very easily become huge. The crushing power of some of the parts like the intro of Unify Mankind is immediately defied by quirky world music parts. The music ebbs and flows elegantly crafting a unique and interesting whole. In short, if you're looking for something new and potentially genre changing to spruce up your Wednesday with then this is the band for you. Suffice to say, I am very much looking forward to seeing them on Sunday night at Le Klub!
