A band who embody the DIY sentiment to its very core The Black Clouds are a powerful grunge act with earthy sounds and crushing riff sthat you won't soon forget. Veritable descendants of Nirvana and Soundgarden these guys have a powerful and sludgy sound that is ready to take over the world. Modern day grunge lords with their own edge to the sound The Black Clouds give their own edge to the sound that Nirvana perfected two decades ago. I love the gritty quality that so much of The Black Clouds music embodies. It gives their songs a certain element that only the greatest groups can attain, it shows me that The Black Clouds have what it takes to get big and dominate. With a wonderfully raw sound and some very tight songwriting I'm excited to see where these guys bring their sound next. Suffice to say, if you're looking for some alt rock that will smash your head in and take you on a wild rock and roll adventure then this is definitely the band for you!
