Total Fucking Destruction is a grindcore project featuring members of Brutal Truth, Old Head and Rumpelstiltskin Grinder. This is a band who go out and grind you to death with a sound that is unholy, impure, and simply glorious. The way Total Fucking Destruction bursts out of the starting gate is impressive and immediately grabs the listener by the ears. Their new EP Monsters is short, but by Thor is it a rager. Clocking in at less than four minutes these two songs showcase Total Fucking Destruction at their finest, simply destroying everything in sight with a ferocity that many bands would love to be able to emulate. A grind band who are not afraid of the big picture and who have a sound that is unique and wholly their own it is not hard to see the progress Total Fucking Destruction has made since their debut in 1999. I for one am ready to open myself up to even more of Hoak and friends grinding metal assault, and I eagerly await it. Sure Monsters may be a short record, but prepare yourself, their is something special, powerful and otherworldly that roars out of the few blasted seconds that make Monsters as good as it is!
