A groove oriented psychedelic doom metal band who take a lot of influence from Electric Wizard and Om... Well butter my butt and call me a biscuit, we've found ourselves a band we can really dig in too! The Bongripper-esque magic of songs like The Hunt speaks to the incredible heaviness that The Munsens are able to deal out with ease. These songs trudge forward with an incredible weight and sense of momentum, it feels almost as if you're trapped under a collapsing building, and with every passing minute you get closer to your death. What I'm trying to say is that in many ways The Munsens embody doom. So let these songs wind their way through your ears, give them a few listens if you can, The Munsens capture all that is mystical and strangely beautiful about doom and filter it through some of the most oppressive lens imaginable to leave the listener wholly, and truly, fucked up.
