Upcoming show: Pallbearer in Paris (Social Club, 25/05/2015)

I'm not here to serenade about with my personal life stories or anything, but I'll just start out by saying that any worthy doom enthusiast in Paris last October who like me, wasn't at the Glazart to witness Pallbearer's live set with Yob and Regarde les hommes tomber should hang their heads in shame.
I don't care what excuse you think you might have, the first step on the road to becoming a better doom metal fan starts by admitting you messed up.
As to those of you who have yet to hear the sweet thunderous sounds of Little Rock's newest Doom metal sensation, you'll be excused for just this one time. On may 25th however, you'll be getting a chance to make amends and catch the band onstage at the Social Club.
Formed in 2008, Pallbearer made an impressive entry into the scene through the release of their 2010 Demo release and their first full-length "Sorrow and extinction", a real "tour-de-force", as we like to say here. Word about the band's magnificent first opus quickly spread, earning high prise from underground music critics and fans as well as recognition from Decibel, Entertainment Weekly and Rolling Stone.
Last year, the band released their sophomore full-length "Foundations of Burden", yet another brilliant album reinstating the bands' in the forefront of the genre, with its melancholic vocal melodies and majestic, pachydermic riffs.
So make for the necessary arrangements and make haste to catch these guys live. Don't worry about your loved one's anniversary, she/he will come to understand the unbreakable bond that binds a person to his/her love for doom.
