Tadashi

Tadashi is an alt rock band from Chicago, with a fun pop-punk type sound. Their riffs are decent, the bass has lots of fills, the drums are fairly good and the vocals are standard of the genre. The guitar work is notable for one major thing, the solos, some of the solos on this record just rip my head off. Aside from that the work is generic punk-pop but when the guitarist really pulls it all out it is truly awesome. The bass work is actually pretty cool because there are a good amount of bass breaks. This makes Tadashi a bit more unique than your average pop punk band. The drum work is pretty straightforward but fairly well done, and while the drummer isn't a crazy god of the sticks he's still pretty good. The vocals are pretty standard of the pop punk genre, and while they are fairly decent, they sound a lot like those of all the other bands. Overall, Tadashi is a decent band with some great musicians who are playing below their capability. They probably are worth a listen.
OVERALL 7.5/10
