Harlot

Harlot is a melodic metal band from Newcastle, their sound is a powerful blend of metalcore and thrash metal. The end result is something that is a lot more aggressive and vibrant than most modern metal yet it is still fairly clean cut and accessible. In some ways it is a kind of fusion of Avenged Sevenfold and Pantera with a few more death metal elements thrown in for flavor.The overall sound is a very fun and dynamic one that is easy to listen to and shows clear musicianship. It takes the boring and clean cut sound of bands like Atreyu and turns them into something a lot more interesting and appealing to a wider range of metalheads (especially the pvre ones). The thrash metal element of the band really helps them to bring their music to a whole new level. In sum, this is something that most fans of heavy music should find very enjoyable and I could very easily see these guys getting big in the near future.
