Unsayn

Unsayn is a nifty hard rock band from Germany. Since the summer of 2012 this all female group has been generating some varied sounds that come together to form the unique whole that is their new EP Dear F*ckers. The songwriting is solid and features a lot of generally progressive elements. Their is a bit of a pop thrum here that helps to give everything a nice mainstream energy. This is a band that could quite easily appeal to thousands. They have enough variety and emotion in their music such that they are not as easy to hate as Creed or Nickelback. Instead these are vicious musicians with heavy metal sensibilities and a great sense of direction. Their music is dynamic and majestic, its hard to forget, especially with an image as defined as theirs. I really like their use of death growls to accentuate parts in a way that is surprisingly distant from modern metalcore. Something that many hard rock and metal fans will love Unsayn is a very promising new act and I look forward to seeing what they bring to the table in the future!
