A fiery thrash metal band from Sweden Deception have a tight and impressive sound that should impress many a metalhead. With elements of both old school and more modern metal Deception seem like they could have a pretty universal appeal, with both the aggression of old school thrash and the refined qualities of modern stuff. A great example of this is on their track Fragile which seamlessly blends the two schools of sound. They have a wonderful songwriting capability which allows for swirling and majestic tracks that carry the reader off on wings made of steel. With a solid new EP out the future seems bright for Deception, their sound seems to be steadily becoming more precise and their execution is excellent. Something that fans of all styles of more traditional metal should love in a few years Deception should be able to take the world on. I am excited to see what they are going to put out next!
