Blackened grindcore is hard to come by in this day and age. And when you do find it its usually only just so much noise, the extremes are pushed too far and while the spirit may live on, the music is lost. Yet Rejekts succeed in reigning in the latent ferocity of their genre and in fact take it to a whole new level, with evil and twisted riffs that are hard to forget. Few modern bands have the pure dedication to all that is unholy with their music, yet the Italian language singing of Rejekts seems as bleak as it comes. (Admittedly, I don't speak Italian) Their new demo EP is violent and unforgiving, blackened grindcore for the true enthusiast. If your looking for the cutting edge in evil in extreme music then Rejects is for you, there brutality and hatred is not something that you will soon forget. I can see this band becoming cult favorites within just a few years, they certainly have the skill and the potential to rise to a whole new level.
