Degeneration Fuzz-Disposable

Degeneration Fuzz are a heavy and explosive grunge band from the north west of England. (You thought I was going to say the US didn't you) I've covered them in the past, but now they are back with a new EP titled Disposable filled with the crushing hardcore punk sounds and strange vibes that make the rest of Degeneration Fuzz's music so good this new EP is just a logical progression on their already awesome sound. Their is a wonderful grunge desperation found throughout these tracks that makes them so much more passionate and emotionally powerful. These guys are singing about issues that effect us every day and they do it with a rugged sort of pride. Sure these riffs aren't super technical, but they are hooky, crass and destructive, Disposable will draw you in, beat you up, and then spit you out. My only real complaint about this record is that its too short. I feel like the vibes these guys are trying to achieve are sometimes missed because they don't have enough time to fully develop their ideas. These guys know what they are doing and how to do it, so prepare yourself for some major rock and roll beatdowns!
