Yet with their new release The Cusp of the Void Dalla Nebbia transcend their genre and become something greater, something raw, yet triumphant and beautiful. A variety of genres are combined here, yet the product is undilluted symphonic progressive black metal. The kind of record that will stand the test of time. Suffice to say this is a very strong debut from one of North America's great black metal hopes. The desperation and power conveyed in their music is impressive to say the least.
