Dirt Wizard

Dirt Wizard is the kind of dirty rock band that shows that rock and roll in the grand old style will never die. Sure there music doesn't have the same feel as Led Zeppelin or Lynyrd Skynyrd, but that doesn't change the fact, Dirt Wizard know how to make loud and proud rock music. Sludgy, grimy, and filled with what are oftentimes inhuman vocals their new EP No Son of Mine is a powerful debut performance. Let's just say, Dirt Wizard have more than proved that they know how to write a solid rock song, and more than that, they know how to set heads banging and hearts racing. Sure their record isn't as polished as it could be and often has demo levels of production, but, for me, that is part of the magic of this release. (Also the fact that the art features space Gandalf, but that's for another time) A release in the vein of Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats or even the great Blue Cheer Dirt Wizard are heavy, loud, and unapologetic, so turn it up folks, its time to soak up some vibes!
