Crushing and stoneriffic doom metal from Arlington, Stone Machine Electric will pound you into the ground with gigantic riffs and grooves that are to die for. There is a wonderful sense of humanity about this band that shows they have the ability to pull out sounds that few of their peers could even compete with. The raw sense of forward motion and the primal vocals, while not perfectly executed, certainly seem to reflect the human condition. These songs are long and powerful, odes to the crushing power that doom can have over all of us. The fact that this band is only a two piece makes their crushing tones all the more impressive. As your body is forced to headbang to these chunky rhythms and crashing drums you start to realize that Stone Machine Electric have a wonderful sense of where it's at.
