Decrepid is one of those bands that does a great job of simply reeking of death metal, from the graphic cover art to the chunky sound these guys have been able to put together something wonderfully beautiful. Their latest release, Osseous Empire will get you diving into the pit and pumping your fist at the bombastic aural violations that are found in this record. The fact of the matter is that Decrepid understand raw and primal evil on a very fundamental level and when they come out to smash your face in with guttural growls and buzzsaw riffs on a song like Death Walks Above you know you're in for a good time. The fact of the matter is that Decrepid are among the best of the best and allowing them to desecrate you eardrums may very well be the best decision any death metal dork can make today. These guys understand the very basis of the genre and though there sound still needs to be refined if you like it fast and loose Decrepid might very well be the band for you!
