Enter The Gates Of Fucking Hell is a really fun, devilish and gloriously twisted record. One element that really strikes me is how weirdly anthemic these songs are. Despite how stripped down the music is, the title track for example has an amazing scream along chorus that is simply undeniable. The raw nature of the music only adds to the charm, with tracks like "Drowning In Darkness" impressing with their blistering, unrelenting assault. This isn't about reinventing the steel, this is about cracking your skull on the goddamn steel hearted soul of the genre.
